Welcome to 5th Grade!

I am so excited for our new school year!  I look forward to getting to know you and working as a team for your students'best interests.  Please reach out to me anytime with questions and/or concerns.  Let's address any potential issues or problems before they snowball.  The best way to reach me is to email me at jolenem@fsusd.org   I am very responsive, and even if I can't get you an answer right away, I will let you know that I am working on it. 

While I will continue to send out a weekly newsletter, this web page will be updated throughout the week.  Please bookmark this web page and check back regularly.  Please also read our weekly newsletter, which will be posted on this site on Fridays.

I use Illuminate as my gradebook.  I encourage all students and parents to check Illuminate weekly.  All parents whose students were in school in the FSUSD district last year should have passwords to access Illuminate.  If you are unsure what your password is, or are new to the district, please contact Evelina or Sharmistha in the front office.
